## Key points

- One is a Mac app, launched October 6, 2026, that collects questions from coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode in one inbox and lets you answer them with a keypress or by voice.
- It works on top of seven agents (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, Omp, Amp, Grok), with an iPhone app and an end-to-end encrypted connector for agents on Linux servers.
- Free covers 25 requests a day to One's AI; Pro is $12.99 a month or $119.88 a year after a 3-day free trial; Lifetime is a 185-seat edition, now $129 once.
- About five hours after launch the founder posted $2M in ARR. One's own terms rule that out as collected revenue: Pro was still in trial, and lifetime seats top out near $43,400, one-time.
- To answer or stop agents from One they must run in herdr, an open-source terminal, and each request sends your voice, a screen capture and agent activity to AI providers.

## At a glance

- **What is One?** A Mac and iPhone app that puts every coding agent's questions in one inbox and lets you answer them by voice, launched October 6, 2026.
- **What does it cost?** Free with 25 requests a day; Pro $12.99 a month or $119.88 a year after a 3-day trial; Lifetime $129 once, 185 seats.
- **Is the $2M ARR claim real?** One has not said how it was counted; its free trial and 185-seat lifetime cap rule it out as money collected on launch day.

**One, a Mac app that collects every coding agent's questions in one inbox and lets you answer them by voice, launched on October 6, 2026, and about five hours later its founder posted "we've hit $2m ARR in 5 hours".** The founder, kyzo, introduced it as "the new way for talking with your agents". One's own price list makes that figure hard to square: both Pro plans start with a three-day free trial, and the lifetime deal is capped at 185 seats. This page reads One's [homepage and pricing](https://getone.one/), its [privacy policy](https://getone.one/privacy), its [remote machines guide](https://getone.one/docs/remote-machines) and the founder's [post on X](https://x.com/ky__zo/status/2107630504359203324), as of October 6, 2026.

## What One is

The homepage puts it in one sentence: "One gives you one place to see, answer and talk to all your coding agents, on your Mac, your iPhone and your servers, so none of them sits waiting." It is not a coding agent. Its FAQ says: "The coding agents you already run, such as Claude Code and Codex, write the code." One sits beside them, shows their status and passes them your answers.

*Table: One at a glance (getone.one, read October 6, 2026)*

| Item | One |
|---|---|
| Launched | October 6, 2026, by kyzo (@ky__zo on X) |
| Platforms | Mac app (macOS 13 or later, Apple silicon and Intel), iPhone app, Linux server connector |
| Works on top of | Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, Omp, Amp, Grok |
| Parts | A toolbar with a dot per agent, an Inbox of questions and finished work, a voice and text router |
| Answering | Press 1, 2 or 3; every answer waits 2 seconds, and Escape undoes it |
| Remote agents | A connector on a Linux server, end-to-end encrypted to your devices |
| Terminal | To answer or stop agents from One, they must run in herdr, a free open-source terminal |
| Models | Requests run on your ChatGPT subscription or your own OpenAI key first, then on One's AI |

The access is the trade. Per its privacy policy, One "only listens and looks at your screen while you are talking to it", and for each request "What you say, what is on your screen, and what your agents are showing are sent to AI providers to understand and act on your request." The policy says One keeps no server-side archive of that material.

## What it costs

Free covers every part of the app with a daily limit on One's own AI. Pro removes the limit. Lifetime is a one-time payment for people who bring their own API key, sold in four price steps.

*Table: One's plans (getone.one pricing and FAQ, read October 6, 2026)*

| Plan | Price | Includes | First year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Every part of One; 25 requests a day to One's AI, reset at midnight UTC | $0 |
| Pro, monthly | $6.99 the first month, then $12.99, after a 3-day free trial (card needed) | Unlimited usage, premium routing, One pays for the models | $149.88 |
| Pro, yearly | $119.88 a year, after a 3-day free trial (card needed) | Same as monthly | $119.88 |
| Lifetime | $129 once now (21 left), then $179 (50 seats), then $299 (100 seats); the $99 step sold out | Your own API keys, updates, no renewal; 185 seats in total | $129 |

## The $2M ARR claim, read against One's own prices

The founder's post reads "we've hit $2m ARR in 5 hours", followed by "not a joke btw". An hour earlier he had written that the first lifetime tier was almost sold out. One has not said how the $2 million was counted. Using only its published terms:

- **No Pro plan could have been billed yet.** Both Pro plans start with a three-day free trial and charge the card when it ends, so a subscription opened on launch day had not paid anything five hours in.
- **Lifetime is capped and one-time.** The edition is 185 seats. Even if all 185 seats sold, the first 35 at $129 or less and the rest at their listed steps, lifetime sales would top out near $43,400, and one-time payments are not recurring revenue.
- **What $2 million would take.** At $119.88 a year, $2 million in ARR is about 16,700 yearly Pro subscribers; at $12.99 a month it is about 12,800 monthly ones.

Read against those terms, the figure cannot be money collected in the first five hours. It may annualize trial sign-ups or count something One has not described. If One publishes its count, this page will carry it.

## Where it sits next to an AI employee

One keeps you as the dispatcher: your agents run in your terminals on your subscriptions, and One routes your answers to them faster. It belongs in the same conversation as [the agent harnesses](https://cellcog.ai/blog/best-ai-agent-harnesses/) and approval layers like [Claude Code's auto mode](https://cellcog.ai/blog/claude-code-auto-mode/). A CellCog AI employee takes the role instead of the queue: it runs on its own secure computer with its own file system and browser, carries what it learns into the next working session, and takes instructions out loud in a meeting.

## What we are watching

- **The count.** Whether One explains what the $2M ARR figure measures.
- **The lifetime steps.** Whether the $179 and $299 seats sell, which caps the one-time take.
- **More agents.** Cursor and Devin are not on the supported list today.
- **An outside review.** An independent read of what One sends to AI providers per request.

## FAQ

**What is the One app for coding agents?**

One is a Mac app with an iPhone companion, launched October 6, 2026, that shows every coding agent you run in a toolbar, collects their questions and finished work in one Inbox, and sends your typed or spoken answers to the right agent. It is not a coding agent itself.

**Which coding agents does One support?**

Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, Omp, Amp and Grok, per its homepage on October 6, 2026. Cursor and Devin are not listed. To answer or stop an agent from One, it has to run in herdr, a free open-source terminal.

**How much does One cost?**

Free includes every part of One with 25 requests a day to One's AI. Pro costs $12.99 a month ($6.99 the first month) or $119.88 a year, each after a 3-day free trial. Lifetime is a 185-seat edition sold in steps, currently $129 once.

**Did One really reach $2M ARR in 5 hours?**

The founder posted it on October 6, 2026, and One has not said how it was counted. Both Pro plans start with a 3-day free trial, so none had been billed, and the 185-seat lifetime edition tops out near $43,400 in one-time sales.

**Does One send my screen to AI providers?**

Per its privacy policy, when you talk to One it sends your voice, a capture of your screen and your agents' activity to AI providers to act on the request. It says it is not an always-on recorder and keeps no server-side archive of that material.
