Yearly billing saves ~8% compared to monthly (you pay for 11 months and get 12 months of credits).

Plan Features

All plans include:

  • All chat modes and tiers (Agent, Agent Creative, and Agent Team — each at Flash, Core, or Max)
  • Access to all agent types
  • Drive storage (varies by plan)

Higher tier benefits:

  • Pro 2X+: Priority processing
  • Pro 8X+: Dedicated support

How Subscription Credits Work

When you subscribe, you receive your plan's credits for the billing period. Subscription credits do not reset on a month-to-month basis — you have the full billing period (month or year) to use them. This means:

  • Monthly plan: Credits are available for the entire month
  • Yearly plan: All 12 months of credits are available for the full year

This design eliminates the pressure of "use it or lose it" monthly resets.

Credits

Credits are the currency for AI operations in CellCog.

How Credits Work

  • Each AI operation consumes credits
  • More complex operations use more credits
  • Credits come from your subscription or top-up purchases

Credit Wallets

CellCog uses three credit wallets, consumed in this order:

table
PriorityWalletSourceExpiry
1Team SubscriptionOrganization subscription (if enrolled)End of billing period
2Personal SubscriptionYour personal subscriptionEnd of billing period
3Top-Up CreditsPurchased credits12 months from purchase

When you use credits, they're deducted from the highest-priority wallet first. This means team credits are used before personal credits, and subscription credits are used before top-up credits.

Viewing Your Credits

  1. Go to ProfileBilling tab
  2. See your current credit balance broken down by wallet
  3. Each wallet shows remaining credits and period information

Top-Up Credit Details

  • Rate: 90 credits per $1
  • Expiry: Top-up credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Wallet: Credits go to your Top-Up Credits wallet
  • No subscription required: You can purchase top-up credits without an active subscription

Auto-Recharge

Auto-Recharge automatically tops up your balance when it drops below a threshold you set — so running work (especially AI employees) never stalls on funding. It's the recommended way to run AI employees.

How It Works

Enable Auto-Recharge in Billing and set:

table
SettingDefaultWhat it does
Threshold500 creditsWhen your balance drops below this, a recharge triggers
Refill target5,000 creditsEach recharge brings your balance back up to this amount
Monthly cap$200A per-calendar-month spending ceiling — raisable, or removable entirely
  • Rate: 100 credits per $1 — the same rate as subscription credits (better than the 90/$1 top-up rate)
  • Charges go to your card on file — the same default payment method used for subscription renewals. You can view, change, or remove it in Billing
  • If your balance is already below the threshold when you enable Auto-Recharge, a recharge fires immediately — the UI shows the amount before you confirm
  • No subscription required

If a Charge Fails

If no valid card is on file or the charge is declined, the recharge fails gracefully: you're notified by email, the billing page shows the failing state, and the platform behaves as it would without Auto-Recharge (low-balance prompts, paused employees) until the card issue is fixed. Auto-Recharge is never silently disabled.

Organization Billing

For corporate users, organization billing provides:

  • Shared credit pool across enrolled team members
  • Centralized billing management
  • Per-seat pricing

Accessing Org Billing

  1. Go to Organization
  2. Click Billing tab

How Org Billing Works

Organization billing has three independent dimensions:

  1. Plan & Seats: Choose a tier, interval, and number of seats. This determines the team's credit pool.
  2. Member Enrollment: Toggle which members have access to the shared credit pool. Enrollment is separate from seat count.
  3. Auto-Enroll: Optionally auto-enroll new members when they join the organization.

Important: Seats and enrollment are completely decoupled. You can have 10 enrolled members sharing credits from 1 seat, or 5 seats with only 3 enrolled members. Seats are a billing number; enrollment controls who can access the shared credits.

See Organization Guide for more details.

Referral Credits

Earn credits by referring friends:

  1. Go to Referrals (sidebar)
  2. Share your referral link or send email invites
  3. When friends join and make their first purchase, you both earn 100 credits

See Referrals Guide for details.

Credit Usage

Important — Credit Consumption is Unpredictable

Credit consumption varies dramatically based on the task, how you prompt, and how the AI models perform on your specific request. We do not provide credit estimates per task type because there is no predictable formula. For example, a 1-minute video could cost 500 credits or 10,000 credits depending on complexity, iterations needed, and model performance. Spending credits does not guarantee a usable output — this is an inherent characteristic of AI technology, not specific to CellCog. Credit usage is something you learn over time as you develop intuition for the platform.

What Uses Credits

Frequently Asked Questions

How do subscription credits work?

Subscription credits are available for the entire billing period. They do not reset monthly — if you're on a yearly plan, you have the full year to use all your credits.

What happens when my subscription renews?

You receive a fresh allocation of credits for the new billing period.

Do top-up credits expire?

Yes. Top-up credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

What happens if I run out of credits?

You'll receive a prompt to upgrade or add credits. You can quickly purchase top-up credits to continue working. Enabling Auto-Recharge prevents this entirely — your balance refills automatically.

Can I get a refund?

All payments to CellCog are final and non-refundable, including subscription fees, automatic renewals, and credit top-up purchases. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. For full details, see our Terms of Service, Section 4.4.

How do I cancel auto-renewal?

Canceling your subscription stops auto-renewal. You keep access until the period ends.

How is credit usage calculated?

Credits are based on computational resources used. More complex operations (like video generation) use more credits than simple text responses.

What's the difference between subscription credits and top-up credits?

Subscription credits come from your plan and expire at the end of the billing period. Top-up credits are purchased separately and expire 12 months from purchase. Subscription credits are consumed first.
