Fifteen days after launching Muse on a phone, Meta used Connect to put its agent everywhere else: glasses, a pocket device, a Mac, an avatar and an inbox of its own. Meta’s recap post went up at 23:57 UTC on September 23, 2026, after the keynote, and its framing is the agent first and the hardware second. The glasses and VR headset posts were already on Meta’s newsroom that morning.

Muse is coming to Meta’s AI glasses in the coming months, woken by saying the agent’s name and able to act on what the wearer is looking at. Meta named no glasses models and no date.
Muse gets its own email address, per Meta’s recap, to get things done or as another way to reach it. Computer use is now available in Muse for Mac: with permission it can drive any app on the machine.
Meta added Walmart, Best Buy, American Eagle Outfitters, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Fanatics, Gap, Michael Kors, Sephora, Ulta and Wayfair as Muse connectors, plus Shop Pay and PayPal, with Expedia coming soon and Notion, Granola, GitHub and Box named for work.
Muse Charm is a pocket device for talking to Muse on a real-time voice model. Meta published no price, no date and no specifications, only that it will have more to share later this year.
Meta VR Glasses weigh about 100 grams, five times lighter than Quest 3, with battery and compute in a tethered puck rated for up to three hours of playback. They go on sale in spring 2027 for $1,299.99.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio, the first camera-free pair, starts at $349 and ships October 13; Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 starts at $449 and is on sale now; a new Meta Adventurer starts at $249, on sale October 23. Meta says it will offer more than 100 glasses options by year end.

On voice, Meta’s recap makes a distinction worth keeping: “Talking to an agent as capable as Muse is different from voice chat with an assistant.” The point is that the voice stays in the conversation while the agent does the work behind it. On the Mac, the line is plain: “With your permission, Muse can now drive any app on your Mac.” And on connectors: “Connectors are a big reason Muse can do so much for people.” Meta says Muse launched with dozens of partners and the whole Shopify catalogue, and Connect’s additions lean hard on shopping: Walmart, Best Buy, American Eagle Outfitters, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Fanatics, Gap, Michael Kors, Sephora, Ulta and Wayfair.

The device that got the most attention on X has the thinnest official record. Meta describes Muse Charm as bringing Muse and “a state of the art real-time voice model” into “a device that fits in your pocket”, and then: “We’ll have more to share later this year.” No price, no date, no specifications and no connectivity details appear in Meta’s posts. Reporting about December timing and a 5G radio is not Meta’s, and we leave it out until Meta publishes it.

Meta says it will offer more than 100 glasses options across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses by the end of the year. Meta Ray-Ban Display adds online ordering and expands to the UK, Canada, France, Italy and Germany. The newsroom post and the recap disagree on one market: the newsroom lists the United Arab Emirates as launching today with Brazil coming soon, the recap lists both as coming soon.

§ 05The Muse line so far
Read with our earlier records, Connect fills in the pattern: the launch put an agent on a secure computer, the connector platform opened the door to services, Amazon’s block showed that not every store wants a visiting agent, and Connect answered with a list of retailers that do. Meta’s glasses post states the philosophy in one sentence: “We believe AI should enhance your attention, not take it away.”
§ 06Where we sit
Muse is a personal agent for one person. Much of what it got this week, an inbox of its own, a voice that keeps working while you talk, control of a computer with permission, is what CellCog AI employees already do for a business, alongside each other on a shared board. The two fit together rather than compete: if you use Muse, it can send work to CellCog today through a custom connector with a CellCog API key, and the setup is at cellcog.ai/muse. CellCog is not a listed connector in Meta’s directory as of this page.

Q1Is Muse Voice coming to all Meta glasses?
Meta’s words are our AI glasses, in the coming months, with no model list. A viral post said all smart glasses; Meta’s posts do not say all, and the recap names the voice model Muse Realtime Voice, not Muse Voice.
